What the experiment actually submitted
On 20 October 2026 we created one task using model identifier doubao-seedance-2-5-260628. The input was a Chinese description of an unbranded perfume bottle. Requested settings were five seconds, 480p and 16:9, with audio and draft mode off. No image or input video was attached.
The task succeeded. We saved the original video and retained its visible AI mark. File inspection returned 854 × 480 pixels, 24 fps, 5.041667 seconds and no audio stream. The requested duration and measured file duration are reported separately.
Calculate from the returned usage
The response recorded completion_tokens = 48,437 and total_tokens = 48,437. These are two fields describing the same total in this record, not two charges to add together. We use completion_tokens for the calculation.
For Seedance 2.5 at 480p without an input video, the official public rate checked on the review date was CNY 70 per million tokens. Multiply the returned count by that rate after converting the million-token unit.

For a later comparison, record model version, input, requested settings, returned usage, invoice, every retry and the acceptance decision. Report sample counts and the spread of results before making claims about typical cost or quality. No additional generation was performed for this article.
Cost questions answered
Did you actually pay CNY 3.39059? We have not verified that exact account debit. The number is calculated from returned tokens and a public unit price; it is not a billing receipt.
Is the sample a product-photo test? No. It is text-to-video with no reference image. Its cost and appearance do not validate product-photo fidelity.
Can I use the same figure for 720p, 1080p or a longer clip? No. Recheck the applicable price and actual usage for the chosen configuration. The formula is reusable; this particular token count is not.
