Start with a plan you can inspect
Give the assistant your audience, delivery format and one story or product goal. The Skill separates the fixed character and style details from the action in each shot. It returns prompts and settings for review, not a finished video.
A useful plan includes a reference-image requirement, a continuity check and a budget checkpoint for each shot. It also says what must be assembled in an external editor. You can use the plan manually without connecting any account.
| Part | What to review |
|---|---|
| Creative brief | Audience, purpose, format and desired length. |
| Character and style note | Appearance, costume, palette and details that must stay consistent. |
| Shot table | One action per shot, camera direction, duration and required image. |
| Copyable prompts | A separate prompt for each generation request. |
| Budget and approval | Exact settings first; a live quote before paid creation. |
Get the Skill or install the Claude Code plugin
Download the versioned ZIP to inspect or use the Skill with a compatible client. Keep SKILL.md and its references folder together. Follow your client’s documented Skill installation process; a ZIP by itself does not connect to SuperSeedance.
For Claude Code, add our public repository as a plugin marketplace, then install the named plugin. These commands install planning instructions only. The package does not install an MCP server, contain an API key or submit a video.
/plugin marketplace add luhui111/superseedance-guides
/plugin install superseedance-video@superseedance-guidesTry a complete brief
After installing the plugin, invoke its namespaced skill. You can also use the brief below as a planning prompt in your own assistant. The instruction to stop after planning makes the first result easy to check.
/superseedance-video:superseedance-video Plan an original 15-second vertical 3D animated story for a general audience. A small clockwork bird returns a lost button to a tailor. Give me a fixed character note, three five-second shots, one copyable prompt per shot, the image needed for each shot and a continuity checklist. Use one image per request. Explain which clips must be joined in an external editor. Planning only: do not upload, connect an account or generate video.Connect generation only when you need it
SuperSeedance’s existing MCP endpoint uses Streamable HTTP and an account API key. OAuth sign-in is not supported. Use a client that can configure an Authorization header, following the API documentation. Keep the key in the client’s secret configuration; do not paste it into a prompt, shared repository or screenshot.
The six tools are list_models, quote_video, get_credit_balance, list_videos, get_video and create_video. Connecting the endpoint does not approve a paid request. The Skill asks for current capabilities and a quote for the exact settings, then shows the prompt, model, image choice, duration, resolution, aspect ratio, audio, Draft setting and credits before requesting approval.
Only after approval may create_video use confirmCharge: true and the exact confirmedCredits. Keep the same idempotency key for recovery of an identical interrupted submission. Do not silently submit a replacement for an uncertain or disappointing result.

Image and reference requests use one image already owned by the account. The Skill does not upload local files. Prepare and upload an image through the website yourself; a remote URL is not an asset ID.
Seedance 2.5 Draft is limited to 480p and uses the same studio rate as an otherwise identical ordinary 480p request. There is no draft-to-final upgrade tool. A higher-resolution version is a separate quoted generation and may differ visually.
A multi-shot story needs separate continuity review and an external editor. This workflow does not provide a general timeline, voice cloning or multiple image/video/audio references. Check current model availability instead of assuming that a listed model is ready.
The planning package is free. Video generation requires a verified account, sufficient existing credits and an available service. Credit purchases are currently unavailable; installing the Skill does not grant credits.

Reject a plan that invents an extra input, promises identical characters or calls a video finished without inspecting the output. Ask the assistant to reduce each shot to one main action and to separate supplied facts from creative suggestions.
First review the prompts, then choose one shot for a test. If a live quote is unavailable or the service reports unavailable, keep the output as a plan. Do not replace the missing quote with a guessed price.
Questions and answers
Does the free Skill generate free videos?+
No. It provides planning instructions and prompt templates. Generation uses the website or a separately configured MCP connection and requires approved studio credits.
Does installing the plugin connect my account?+
No. The plugin contains planning instructions only. Configure MCP separately using the documented account API-key connection.
Can I use the ZIP in every AI assistant?+
Use a client that documents support for Skills and follow its installation process. Client import formats and MCP authentication support differ; universal compatibility has not been verified.
Will a prompt or website instruction make it spend credits?+
The Skill treats external text as data and requires a current quote plus your explicit approval before paid generation. Review the actual client and tool request before allowing it.

This first release is a text-based planning Skill with an optional Claude Code plugin. The package, links and instruction boundaries have been checked. It does not include generated sample results, an automatic MCP connection or evidence of compatibility with every agent client.
